We do NOT sell anything. Everything is provided for medicinal use and we accept donations for products

Q: Why are your product set donations higher than some competitors?

A: You may find that prices on some of our herbal products may be higher than some of our competitors. We refuse to purchase cheaper and lower quality herbs that may be old and ineffective, or worse yet, that may have been contaminated from fecal matter, unhygienic drying conditions or chemical radiation or fumigation. We buy only from high-quality, organic herb farms that specialize in growing, drying and processing clean, unadulterated herbs. We are very pleased with their quality and offer them to you happily, with confidence and with pride!

Q: Do you carry animal based products?

A: No, all of our products are vegetarian. Our products contain no animal products, and have NOT been tested on any animals.

Q: Where do you get your herbs?

A: THC Legacy buys its herbs from certified organic herb farms. They grow the herbs, harvest them at the peak of their potency, dry them, and then ship them directly to us to be made into the high quality products that we offer to you.

Q: What is sublingual?

A: underneath tongue

Q: what is considered a full dropper?

A: Squeeze the bulb and fill the glass dropper. Tilt it back til the contents fill the bulb; squeeze again while dropper is faced up. Holding the dropper, swiftly tilt dropper back into fluid and suck up another dropper full.

Q: How do you use tinctures?

A: If you want a tincture to kick in fairly quickly, the best method of delivery is to use a half or full dropper (depending on your preferred dose) under your tongue. it generally lasts two to three hours. But the times and reactions vary for different people.

Q: How long will each tincture last me?

A: The length of time each size tincture will last depends on how frequently one uses it.  As a ballpark figure, each ounce of tincture contains approximately 42 droppersful (i.e. 1oz = 42 droppersful, 2oz = 84 droppersful, and 4oz = 168 droppersful).

Q: Are herbal products safe?

A: We can assure you that any herbs we may recommend to you are safe for your situation, and we will guide you on its correct usage.

Q: What should you look for in a product?

A: Make sure the manufacturer uses certified organic or wild crafted herbal ingredients. You don’t want herbicides, pesticides, synthetic fertilizers or ethylene oxide gas on your herbs. These chemicals are bad for your body, especially the central nervous system. If your product uses herbs from overseas, then it contains substandard herbs treated with chemicals. Make sure there is no heat used in the manufacturing or packaging processes. Heat destroys plant enzymes and important alkaloids.

Q: What do you suggest people do if they want to use tinctures for herbal potency but don’t like the idea of using alcohol?

A: You can use the tinctures containing alcohol, but before taking your dose heat an ounce of water or distilled water. The water should be warm, but not boiling. Place your dose of the herbal tincture in the water and let it sit for five minutes. The alcohol will evaporate and your herbs will remain. Or, you can make an herbal infusion. This is a fancy way of saying herbal tea. Herbal teas are another way of getting herbs into the body, but they will not be as potent as an aged tincture. You will have to drink your herb tea frequently and make sure the herbs are of good quality. You can also opt for the glycerin tincture.

Q: On your label you say an adult dose is one full dropper. When I squeeze the dropper bulb it only fills half the dropper. Is this considered a full dropper?

A: Yes. If you need to check drops, an adult dose is 32 drops (1/4 tsp.). This is the average dose for someone over 100 pounds. This is your average adult dose. For aggressive doses you can go up to 4 droppers full or one teaspoonful.

Q: Is the dropper size on the one and two ounce bottles the same?

A: Yes. Just squeeze the dropper bulb once for a full adult dose of 42 drops.

Q: Why do I have to shake my herbal liquid (tincture) prior to dispensing my dose?

A: Shaking the tincture distributes any herb particles that settle on the bottom. Shaking assures the correct herb mixture in your dose.

Q: Can I take my herbal supplements with meals?

A: Yes, unless otherwise directed.

Q: How all can the Legacy Oil be used?

A: There are a number of ways to use herbs, both internally and externally. Herbs can be taken internally as a tea, a tincture (see above), in capsules, as an enema (always use lukewarm/warm water in an enema – never administer an enema cold), or as a suppository. Herbs can be applied externally in an herbal oil, salve, poultice, compress, in a bath soak or as a foot soak. The Legacy Oil can also be used to replace all oil options in cooking such as butter, margarine, coconut oil, etc.

Q: Can I take my herbs with my other medications?

A: This is tough to answer without knowing patient details. It is best if you consult with a licensed medical physician familiar with herbs or a naturopathic physician. I would not be able to advise you based on the lack of scientific research using pharmaceutical drugs and herbs together. It is my understanding that mixing both therapies produces poor results. It is usually recommended that using one or the other therapy alone is best.

Q: Do herbs have any interactions with other medications I may be taking?

A: Some can, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have in regard to this, as we feel that it is of utmost importance. Any product that we have that may interact negatively with a pharmaceutical drug or that should be avoided with certain health conditions will be listed on our label or in the product’s description to the best of our ability and knowledge. We strive to be as thorough and complete as we can. If in doubt about any product, we invite you to contact the office, and we will be glad to help you. Be sure when you consult with any herbalist or other health care provider that you fully inform them of any medications you are taking, or of any health issues you are experiencing. We urge you to be a responsible party in your own health care by fully informing anyone who is giving you products or health advice of these important pieces of information. Not all companies are as diligent as THC Legacy in providing information or cautionary notes on its product labels.

Q: Why should I use herbs instead of a pharmaceutical drug?

A: It depends on where you place value. If you want a quick fix and be able to carry on with your life as usual, then you probably value the drug route. If you want to address the cause and not just the symptom of your problem, then the natural therapy will serve you best. The natural approach will require effort on your part, but it will also make you more aware of your body and you will begin to read what is healthy for you and what is not. In the long run you will be less dependent on others for your health, which can also translate into saving you money.

Q: Can I warm herbal liquids in my microwave?

A: No. Never heat your herbal liquids directly. Herbs are heat-sensitive and should not be added to anything hot unless recommended; otherwise it changes its effectiveness.

Q: Do I need to store my herbal products in the refrigerator?

A: No, herbs that are made properly can be stored in a cabinet away from heat and light. If you do not have environmental controls and live in a hot and humid climate you should store your herbal products in the refrigerator. Place them in a brown paper bag first to protect them from the refrigerator light. Do not store your herbal products in your car or anywhere there is extreme heat. Herbal tinctures have a 10-year shelf life and powdered herbs five years.

Q: I use prescription steroids. Is there a list of herbs to avoid if using this medication?

A: Use caution mixing steroid medications with echinacea. (Steroids: Anabolic steroids, Amiodarone, Methotrexate, and Ketoconazole)

Q: What is the difference between the Moonshine Tincture drops and the Legacy Oil drops?

A: The Moonshine Tincture is an alcohol base. Since it is alcohol, it goes into your blood stream MUCH faster, almost immediately. However since blood processes through your system quickly the psychogenic effects wear off faster as well. While there are a number of factors that will determine how fast the products work in your system (how hydrated you are, are you a regular THC consumer, your BMI, etc.), typically you should feel the drops within 5-10 minute, and it on average lasts 1-2 hours. The Legacy Oil is an olive oil base. Olive oil is consumed and processed through your digestive system. This process takes much longer thus on average it takes about an hour to experience the benefits of the product. However in similar contrast since the product is oil based it lasts longer in your system. The Legacy Oil (on average) holds its affect for 6-8hrs.

Q: What is the potency for your products?

A: Each strain has a different potency but on average our products test on a chromatography machine with a THC range from 300mg to 350mg

The information contained herein is in no way a complete list of herb and drug interactions. Each individual should investigate the interactions between herbs and prescription medications or seek medical advise from a licensed medical physician before using any product.
